Simpler Configurations of CESM
==============================


There is currently a two-tier structure for support of "simpler" confgurations of CESM: fully supported and *in development*. 

Supported Configurations
------------------------

- Aquaplanet
  + Fixed SST ("APE")
  + Slab-ocean
- Dry dynamical core
  + Adiabatic (baroclinic lifecycle)
  + Held-Suarez/Ideal Physics


Configurations In Development
-----------------------------
- Moist baroclinic wave with Kessler microphysics
- Toy terminator chemistry
