Simpler Configurations of CESM

There is currently a two-tier structure for support of “simpler” confgurations of CESM: fully supported and in development.

Supported Configurations

• Aquaplanet + Fixed SST (“APE”) + Slab-ocean
• Dry dynamical core + Adiabatic (baroclinic lifecycle) + Held-Suarez/Ideal Physics

• Moist baroclinic wave with Kessler microphysics
• Toy terminator chemistry
