JL is running very slowly today. There is a ton of latency just opening files and getting cells to execute. This is on casper compute node resources.

The only time I have seen this before is when an individual user mistakenly created 100,000+ files in their $HOME directory or similar location read by JL's file browser.

Could this be a possible case? Can be useful to run dh or gladequota as needed to assess this.

It was also very slow for me yesterday - it couldn't even finish running a cell importing libraries. But today its working again as expected.
