Hey @Drew Camron @Kevin Tyle @Julia Kent - I drafted up an updated blog/description of Project Pythia here. Do you think we could use the same text and images and such, or should we condense it down a bit for the topic on discourse? https://docs.google.com/document/d/1R6KbwKJ6Xzuf7u1n7D_ZJJ6Z_U58oC6eNoPHwTD6QgM/edit?usp=sharing

IMHO I would aim for something shorter ...

Got it - can do :) thinking of a slightly modified version of what is on our homepage... but we can use that longer version for an updated blog post

This is a super useful resource that you put together! But I agree it may be a little long for the stickied discourse post.

Alrighty - I condensed it, and essentially used our landing page message + a little extra
"Project Pythia is the education working group for Pangeo and is an educational resource for the entire geoscience community. Together these initiatives are helping geoscientists make sense of huge volumes of numerical scientific data using tools that facilitate open, reproducible science, and building an inclusive community of practice around these goals. This part of the Pangeo forum is dedicated to discussions related to Project Pythia, such as meeting details, priority discussions, and solicitations for feedback."

Here is a link to the doc with this, as well as the longer version.

@Drew Camron thoughts here? If it looks good to go, I can go ahead and add this to the forum!

It looks good! I think the only additional things for the pinned topic could be relevant link(s). At least projectpythia.org, if not also a quick shoutout to foundations, cookbooks, and/or external resources
