ACS is the AVAPS data logger which is responsible for collecting raw data from NCAR AVAPS® Radiosondes.

History

The NCAR Airborne Vertical Atmospheric Profiling System, AVAPS® has a long and illustrious career that officially started in 1996, but is the heir apparent to a large multiple of aircraft based sounding systems reaching back to the 1960s.
