Saved Sessions Dependency on Different Systems
Hi everyone, I created some sessions of VAPOR on my laptop (4GB RAM, 64-bit, Windows 10, Intel i5 processor). I copied the same sessions along with data and tried loading it on a different system (8GB RAM, 64-bit, Windows 8.1, i5 processor) and it worked without any issues. When I tried to do the same on another machine of similar configuration as that of the second one, it gave the following error: Failed to initialize udunits: Error parsing unit specification. Is there any dependency w.r.t libraries for saved sessions to work on different systems ? Thanks in advance, Arun.

Hi Arun,

No, there are no library settings stored in the session files. What are the specs of your second system?  I suspect that this is not a session file issue.  Are you able to run vapor as usual on it?

Just for completeness, can you send us a copy of your session file (vapor@ucar.edu)?

Thank you for the reply. The configuration of my second system is same as that of first (8GB RAM, 64-bit, Windows 8.1, i5 processor). I am able to run vapor as usual. Only session file is prompting an error. I will be mailing a session file and error message to vapor@ucar.edu for your reference.

Systems that different in the sessions are core to duel that to have ram capacity more than the hard of memory. That systems are now very using for libraries and essay writing website http://www.rushanessay.com/ concerning team have to indulge the speed of the sessions.
