Hi,
I'm trying to visualize the magnetic field inside a plasma. I'm using the steady flow tool to create field lines, but the field lines are not nearly long enough. I've found that the product of flow smoothness and length has a maximum. Is there anyway to draw longer field lines without sacrificing smoothness?

Hi Nick. This is an interesting problem that I've not encountered before. Usually the bounds of our steady flow length are suitable. One thing you could try is to create new variables for your flow field that are just scaled by a factor of 10, 100, or whatever. This should increase the length of your lines. See our python documentation, linked below on how to do this.
