Can the VAPOR be used to put a vertical slice with any two given points in the new version?

Dear all,

I noted that the VAPOR only supports axis-aligned image planes in the document of Using NCL with VAPOR to Visualize WRF-ARW data on page 14. Can the VAPOR be used to put a vertical slice with any two given points in the new version, even with a pivot point (plane) and an angle?
Thanks in advance.
As far as known, NCL can be used to plot cross section with both any two points given (from point A to point B) and a pivot point (plane) and an angle.

Hi Jin-Fang,

Sorry, the images must be axis-aligned.

Jin-Fang,  Did you want to create a slice of a 3D variable?  If so, you can do this at an arbitrary alignment using the "orientation" controls in the Probe panel.

Hi Alan, Thanks for your suggestion. It is useful to create a slice of a 3D variable via the "orientation" controls.
