I have used vapor for a long time, and it worked well. Now, I removed the old version and installed vapor2.2.0. However, I try to
run vapor by double-click vaporgui and it did not work. Is there something difference between vapor2.2.0 and the old vesrions ?

Yin, what platform are you running on (mac, windows, linux, etc)? Have you checked the appropriate logging facility for your machine for any error messages?
Hi Clyne, I ran it on windows with 32-bit system. I didn't find any error message. I removed vapor2.2.0 and reinstall vapor2.1.0. It works well. So, maybe some libs or others are needed when run vapor2.2.0 on windows. Am I right? Thanks a lot.
Yin, I have a few more questions: Which version of windows are you running? What exactly happened when you tried to run vapor 2.2? Did you see the user interface, did you see a blank screen? Did you see anything at all?

Any one can run Vapor 2.2.0RC1 on the windows7 32bit systems? I found it gives out so many warnings and can not work at all!

Thanks for the replay. I have test VAPOR 2.2.0RC1 on several platform include win7-32bit win7-64bit and win2003sever. It was found that the running errors I pasted above may be caused by the drivers of graphics card. I give the first platforms:
---Intel Xeon 3320
---AMD HD3450
--- windows 7 32bit
It was found out that the drivers installed by the windows systems self result in so many errors and the Vapor software would crashed. After I installed the driver from AMD ATI site parts of problems will be solved, and the Vapor may run with very low efficient.
the second sytemes I test
----AMD 955 CPU
----AMD HD5670
----Windows 7 64bit
It was found out the vapor can run successfully and far more efficient than first platforms, and the graphics display driver come from AMD ATI site.
So, may i can conlude that the VAPOR may require some moderate graphics card for hardare and newerdisplay driver for software, But there are no more gudiance about this information on the release notes of documents with VAPOR software.

What platform are you runnning on (Windows 7, Windows 8, RedHat Linux 5, etc)? Have you tried installing vapor 2.2.4, which was just released a few days ago?
