EC GRIB and VDCWizard

Hello, I downloaded a small GRIB file from ECMWF Interim Analyses. I must be doing something wrong because the vdcwizard isn't able to convert the grib file. I get the error message "Invalid grid specification ('reduced_gg') for Record No. 0". I failed to find documentation on this error message. Any clues to what I am doing wrong? Running Vapor on OSX 10.11.
