The particulate matters (PM2.5) occurring over East Asia have been simulated for 5-days (April 24th~April 29th 2010) using the WRF-Chem model, and long-range transport process was visualized using the VAPOR program. The model variables used for making the plot are PM2.5, U, V, and W. The atmospheric concentration of PM2.5 is shown as 3-dimensional rendering technique (DVR) with red color scales proportional to its concentration. The wind vectors are given by barbs at altitudes of 1500m (red), 3000m (green), 5000m (yellow). A vertical cross-section (Probs) along a longitude line of 127o is added in order to emphasize inflow patterns of the air pollutant to the Korean peninsula.
