There is no direct conversion from HDF5 to vapor format, however there are various utilities that can be used to convert your HDF5 data to NetCDF. You should then be able to use the vapor utilities ncdfvdfcreate and ncdf2vdf to convert your netcdf files to vapor data. There may be some pitfalls, since I am not aware of anyone performing this conversion. Please let us know how it goes.
