VAPOR employs an in-memory cache to hold recently accessed data. It is important to set the cache size to a value appropriate for the platform on which VAPOR GUI is executing. In general the cache size should be smaller than the total amount of physical memory that is available for your usage. The data cache size is set in the User Preferences panel.
