VAPOR is intended to facilitate data understanding by providing a variety ways to look at data.
The data rendering capabilities available in VAPOR correspond to the various render tabs and are described in the Vapor Rendering guide.
The data that is visualized is usually on a 2D or 3D grid. In addition, geometric models can be displayed in the 3D scene using the Model renderer.
The visualization can be animated over time using the animation tab.
The visualizer features panel allows setting of various optional capabilities that can be applied in the visualization.
