The variable value associated with an isosurface can be set in several ways:
- The isosurface value can be explicitly entered in the Isosurface Value textbox.
- The isosurface selection window includes a histogram of values of the current variable, and contains a slider that can be interactively positioned along the interval indicated by the histogram domain bounds.
- An isosurface can be constructed through a specific point. Enter the point coordinates in the three textboxes labeled "Isosurface through specific point", and then click the button "Pass Iso through point"
- The Probe cursor can be used to position an isosurface. When the probe cursor is in the desired location, click on the button "Copy Point from Probe" and then click "Pass Iso through point"
