VAPOR visualizers can display a color scale in a visualizer indicating the mapping of data values to color of one of the renderers used in the visualizer. This is controlled in the Visualizer Features Panel. In that panel you must identify the Renderer type whose color scale will be displayed. If multiple such renderers are displayed in the same visualizer, then the color scale will be associated with the current selected renderer instance.
The visualizer features panel also supports configuring the color scale in various ways, such as choosing the position and size in the window, the font size, the number of tic marks, the background color, etc.
