Used in Aspen beginning with V3.4.5 (Dec 2020). In Aspen 3.4.4 and earlier a Taylor series expansion was used instead.
The potential temperature \(\Theta\) (K) calculated from temperature \(t\) (K) and pressure \(p\) (hPa).
Formula
\(\Theta = t (\frac {1000}{p})^{\frac{2}{7}}\)
